Committees are the work engines of United Faculty. Members of any active standing committee are appointed by the President subject to Rep Council approval, per the bylaws. Currently active and accepting member interest:
- Communications Committee — newsletter, website, member-facing communications.
- Elections Committee — nominations, ballots, certification.
- Membership Committee — outreach, enrollment verification.
- Political Action Committee (PAC) — including the current Prop 55 signature drive.
- Organizing Committee — member engagement, structure-testing.
- Racial Justice and Equity Committee (RJEC).
- District Insurance and Benefits Committee — per CBA Article 21.5.
- Retiree Health Benefits Trust Committee Representatives.
Email the Communications Chair at CommunicationsChair@unitedfacultynocccd.org indicating which committee you would like to serve on, or complete the Committee Interest form under Forms (members-only).
Have a question or concern? Bring it through your Rep Council member — that is the formal channel for accurate, timely response. See Leadership & Reps for your campus and division contacts. Official UF updates are distributed only by email from UF role-based accounts and posted to UnitedFacultyNOCCCD.org.
