United Faculty exists to protect and promote the well-being of full-time faculty in the North Orange County Community College District; to improve the conditions of teaching and learning at Cypress College, Fullerton College, and North Orange Continuing Education; to advance the cause of free, universal, and quality public higher education for all students; and to ensure that the human dignity and civil rights of every student, every colleague, and every member of our community are protected.

Our work happens through formal structures: collective bargaining of the contract that governs our employment, representation in grievances when contract rights are challenged, and shared governance with the Senates and the District in the academic and professional matters where faculty voice is required by law and by good practice.
